Are you a Connecticut restaurant or business that would like to help PATH?

Our Parent Support program best known as The Listener Program; provides support services critical to many Connecticut families who live with the sometimes unimaginable situation of raising a child with developmental disabilities or special health care needs. The program provides training, one-to-one parent matches, follow-up services and an inspirational and informational newsletter at no cost to families. Other critical programs include navigation of complex healthcare programs and services, resource research and advocacy, support and training for parents dealing with difficult issues at school or state agencies. (Please visit www.pathct.org for a complete description of our programs).

While we are pleased to support families during critical times and offer all our services free to families; the reality is that there are costs associated with providing services.

With the bleak financial picture today in the state of Connecticut, PATH/FVCT has not received any government funding for its parent-to-parent services. In addition, many community and private foundations have been affected by the withered economy and as a result are unable to maintain level funding. It is because of these realities that PATH/FVCT is writing to ask for your financial assistance to ensure that the availability of our invaluable services will not be interrupted. If you are a family member or friend of a child with special health care needs, you understand how difficult life can be and know what a difference being connected with an experienced parent makes in the life of a family.

We are asking for your to support PATH/FV of CT by donating a product or gift certificate from your organization to our 2nd Annual Online Silent Auction to be held May 31, 2015 through June 14th, 2015.  All the money raised at this event goes directly to helping children and their families so that they can achieve their own hopes and dreams. Please take a moment to complete and mail the commitment form enclosed. Thank you for your thoughtful consideration of our request. Your contribution will truly make a difference to many families across Connecticut and their precious children.
