PATH Parent to Parent/Family Voices of CT (PATH/FVCT)
CT Family to Family Health Information Center
Role:   To provide support to families who seek assistance with resources for Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs.  With an emphasis on Autism Awareness and to support Bi-Lingual families as needed.  
  • Outreach for the F2F Health Information Center to families and providers (Training provided)

  • Participate in training for Health Information Specialists and Autism Awareness

  • Participate and provide health care related training’s and activities for Bi-Lingual families of Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs.

  • Provide direct support to families; such as health care resources, assistance with referrals, advocacy and parent to parent support that may include finding and fostering a match with another family that has similar needs (matching to be coordinated through PATH/FVCT).

  • Provide Autism Awareness training to First Responders, Families and Professionals.

  • Attend DPH Collaborative meetings 

  • Attend monthly team meetings.

Must live in the South West Region of CT.
  • Bilingual preferred.
  • Must be the parent of a child who is diagnosed with Autism.
  • 9 hours a week
  • Work from home, but will have to attend meetings and do outreach.
