What is it like to live with a brother who doesn’t have autism? I wouldn’t know. My name is Ashlynn. My older brother, Patrick, has autism. Asperger’s to be exact. Asperger’s is a mild form of autism. Patrick’s autism is so unnoticeable that if you were to meet him. you probably would not know that he has it. Asperger’s has pros and cons. It gives my brother a high IQ, the ability to play 23 instruments, and an amazingly creative mind. One of the drawbacks of Asperger’s is that my brother can be a rigid rule follower.
